How would you best describe your signature style?

My signature style is a combination of British eclecticism and a refined, luxurious, internationalism. Creating many homes around the world, in the US, Asia, Middle East and throughout Europe, means a range of influences permeate my work. I love silk chinoiserie wallpapers, Italian glasswork, Asian art, American embroidery and European textiles, so my interiors are rich, layered and full of detail. Above all they are peaceful, calm spaces for my clients to enjoy, I believe every interior must have a timeless elegance that will bring the client great happiness for many years, and that ethos is reflected in every design we create.

What makes Chase Erwin textiles stand out?

I use Diva a great deal, it is the perfect lamps shade silk.

Tell us about some of your projects which feature Chase Erwin textiles?

I recently completed a timelessly elegant mews house in Chelsea, London, that had Chase Erwin fabrics throughout. Light blues, greys and celadon hues flowed throughout the 5 floors of this family home and I used tactile silks, linens and velvets throughout for a soft and tranquil feel in every space.

Where do you find the inspiration for your schemes?

Often from my travels and from the natural world. I am really passionate about nature and sustainability and have been working as an ambassador for the Campaign for Wool to try to ensure we use as much natural fibre textiles in our projects as possible. It’s a beautiful world, we need to protect it for future generations.
