Q&A with our London Sales Rep

Jessica, welcome to Chase Erwin! Please can you tell us about your background and what led you to this role?

I have experience across a wide range of interior products, from furniture, wallpaper, textiles, blinds and leather. I’ve worked all over the industry promoting different products and engaging with different customers. I jumped at the opportunity to join the Chase Erwin team when the role came up at such an exciting time of growth within the brand.

Have you always worked in the textiles/interiors sector?

I used to run my own business and part of that was home staging for rental properties, and since graduating I’ve worked for several exciting interior brands, so I have a real passion for interior design.

Tell us about what your new role entails?

My role is about engaging with our client base, making connections and introducing designers to our fabulous new collections, including our most recent launch Solstice and Aurora. I’m really enjoying sharing these beautiful fabrics which feature an elegant palette of subtle colours with sophisticated appeal. The collection includes textured linens, tactile silks and lush velvets which reflect the versatility of the Chase Erwin range, offering a wide range of weights, weaves and textures. I’m looking forward to getting our customers excited about using Chase Erwin fabrics for their interior design projects.

What are you most looking forward to as Chase Erwin’s new London Representative?

London is such a dynamic city and there is a really exciting new cohort of design studios emerging right now, so it’s great to see the fantastic projects they are working on and to play a part in helping them achieve their design vision. I’m also very much looking forward to Paris Deco Off in January. We will be exhibiting in a pop-up showroom on Rue de Seine amongst other high end interiors brands. It’s such a great opportunity to see emerging trends, network with industry colleagues and make new contacts. It will be a wonderful way to start the year.

What is your favourite fabric/collection from Chase Erwin? Why?

There are so many favourites! Aliana is such an elegant, understated fabric, plus its 100% UK wool which has lots of benefits in terms of sustainability as well as function. Molecule is also a firm favourite, it’s buttery soft with a matte finish, making it very sophisticated. My absolute favourite would have to be Sanctuary, it’s super cosy with a subtle cheetah jacquard, I would love to use it to make a coat!

What do you think makes Chase Erwin’s textiles stand out?

Chase Erwin fabrics not only look great, but feel great too. They have a beautiful handle; you can really feel the luxurious quality. We use lots of natural fibres which makes the fabrics so tactile.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by interiors that make you feel calm and rooted. I love how design has the power to influence our emotions and restore us after a long day. So many of our Chase Erwin fabrics are inspired by nature, and have a truly calming and timeless appeal. I feel very lucky to be surrounded by such beautiful quality textiles every day in my new role!

Thank you Jessica, we are delighted to have you as our London representative!
