2022 has been a year of new partnerships for Chase Erwin. Earlier this year, we became part of Panaz Holdings, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of high-quality contract fabrics. This moment marked a pivotal new chapter for us as we embarked on our new future with Panaz. This close partnership has given us the opportunity to evolve, grow and move forward with new energy, as we continue to build on the Chase Erwin brand’s prestigious reputation. In August Chase Erwin became an Industry Partner member of the BIID, the UK’s only professional institute for interior designers. This membership provides another fantastic opportunity to further strengthen Chase Erwin’s relationships with the interior design community. We have made exciting new connections with interior design studios, and we have also enjoyed collaborating with our wonderful existing partners who inspire us every day with their creative interior design projects.
2022 saw the launch of our two new luxury textile collections, Solstice and Aurora. The stunning collections are inspired by nature, reflecting the changing of the seasons and the chasing of the Aurora Borealis lights. The highly anticipated collections feature an elegant palette of subtle colours with sophisticated appeal. Textured linens, tactile silks and lush velvets flow seamlessly together in a celebration of texture, colour and pattern. It's been wonderful to have received such positive feedback on Solstice and Aurora from our customers.
Our CEO Lauren Stonnell provides an insight into which Chase Erwin fabrics have been trending this year: “The brand’s signature calming whites and neutral fabrics steal the top spot yet again, for the most specified colour palette. In particular, the exquisite Embrace Cotton white boucle fabric from the Essence collection was the most popular Chase Erwin fabric of 2022, loved by designers for its tactile finish and contemporary look.” Other highly sought-after textiles include the stunning Oriana Sand, Ombre Pearl, Molecule Silver and Helios Bronze, which help to create the sophisticated, subtle palette that Chase Erwin is renowned for. These fabrics have proved particularly popular with designers specifying drapery for their projects.
We can’t wait to share our new collections next year, as we have some wonderful launches in the pipeline. Designers can expect to see colourful double-width elegant drapery from our upcoming March collection, so watch this space! We are also hard at work on some standout, bold and playful patterns for the September collection which will feature a beautiful artistic colour palette. We’ll be at Paris Déco Off in January, which is always a sumptuous celebration of luxury interior design. We will be showcasing our latest collections to visitors, so do call in to see us at our pop-up showroom in the stunning Galerie Bacquart on the Rue de Seine.
